Arrghhh... your just waking up on a saturday morning and have nothing to do. Your deck is broke and so are you. Hmmmm, how could I get some money and get one of the OSP decks for $32.95? First idea, you call your haggard uncle and ask him if he needs help at his welding shop. He says you can work for $5.50 an hour. So he comes and gets you and your work day starts at 9:23am and goes till 4:39pm.
1. How much money did you make today?
Cool, its 5 o'clock and your sick and tired of welding. But, not only did you get paid, you made a grind rail with some leftover metal when you were working. You take your cash and your grindrail back home with you. Your boy Wishbone calls and says he wants to skate but he has nothing to skate. "I got a grind rail" you say. "But, its gonna cost you $0.75 cent every time you miss a trick on the rail and everytime you land I will pay you $0.25 cent!" Alright, Wishbone agrees. So you take it to a local spot and he sessions it. He lands 11 different tricks on the rail, not bad but he busted 28 times.
2. Do you owe Wishbone money for landing tricks or does he owe you money for not landing them? And how much money is owed/paid?
Alright, so Wishbone takes you back home and you go to count your money from the day. But first you search the couch and the laundry machines to see if any money fell through you holey pockets. Eureka!!! You find 17 pennies, 29 nickels, 53 dimes, and 16 quarters.
3. Alright, with the money from your uncle and your deal with Wishbone and also the couch monies, how much money do you have at this point?
Looks like OSP is having a punk show tonight along with some free giveaways, sweet. You wanna go but have no ride. TAXI!!! Taxi man gets there and smells like last weeks dirty clothes. You get in anyways. While in there, you do find $2.43 attached to some gum in the seats. The taxi ride costs $6.75 and you give him a $0.60 cent tip. Big tipper you are.
4. After the taxi ride to OSP and the change you found, how much monies do you have now?
After finally making to OSP, you go ahead and get one of the OSP decks for $32.95 and some black grip for $3.00. Your a bit parched and get a Kronik Energy drink for $2.13. Sweet, time to skate. After a long day of working, hustling and chilling your ready to count your earnings and see where you stand.
